In our breeding of 2010, we went back to the breeder of our first 3 Vs for a sire to breed to our Jewel.
Sylvia Dorosh, of Varazs Vizslas was that breeder. She had bred her Miska to an Australian sire and produced a litter that included Blaze - the sire we selected.
Sydney is the puppy we kept from that outstanding litter of pups.
Recently Sylvia had a wonderful day in the rings and was able to announce that Miska ( Sydney's paternal Grandmother) had just completed her 40th title..yes 40th!
Sylvia wrote -'What a day for Miska at today AKC agility trials
in Tempe AZ. She Q'd 3 for 3 and finished her AGILITY EXCELLENT (Preferred)
standard title with a 2nd place!! That was Miska's 40th title (and my first
Excellent Std title)!! And she Q'd in Open FAST (1st) and in Jumpers Excellent.'

Family History - a different branch
We could not be happier for both Sylvia and Miska on their outstanding results for all their hard work. Miska was bred, trained and handled by Sylvia! I have been whispering in Sydney's ear that she could follow in at least some of her Grandma's impressive footsteps!

Miska is an amazing dog, just as her daddy Sasha was & also her mother. I don't think there is anything that makes her really special except for her desire to please and to earn treats! Miska just lives up to the moniker of the breed - a Versatile Vizsla! She's only as good as her handler/trainer/breeder is which just goes to show that anyone can do what she has done with the right kind of training, time and money. You can definitely do it Sydney!!
