This past weekend it was wonderful to watch Quinn, - born 2012,  son to Kati, Blackbullet's Mighty Quinn NAVHDA NA run the show ring..representing the 4th generation. 

We have truely been blessed.   

Maggie - toy guarding and morsel watching

Maggie from our 2004 litter looks so much like her mother Amber  and her sister Jewel. Even though the dogs have not been together since they were pups, it is amazing how much Maggie acts like her sister Jewel.

A little information on our Amber whom we lost April 20, 2012.

She was bred and supported throughout her life by Sylvia Dorosh of Varazs Vizslas in Ontario.

Amber  came to  us at about 9 weeks of age, our second Vizsla. 

She was also known as  Ch. Varazs On Point At Blackbullet - group winning and placing show girl.

• Her Sire was : Am CH Legacy's Rhythm N Blues "Rowdy" 
• Her Dam was : Am/Can CH Maritza of Kezdet Nekah CD CGC "Nekah" 
• She was born  February 2, 1998
• She left us on April 20, 2012

Amber had one litter, born in 2004. The sire for that litter was Am/Can Ch. Legacy's Leaps and Bounds - Remmie.  

That breeding produced 7 outstanding pups who remain healthy and have proven themselves as outstanding companions, show and field dogs.  Our Jewel, from that litter has been a wonderful friend, outstanding show and field dog. Her pups too have carried on with Amber's outstanding qualities. 

In a few days we will delivering Amber's great grand pups and we are prepared to again see the wonderful qualities of Amber in those pups.

Amber was such a dear friend and  a wonderful companion who taught us so much with her patience, her love, her drive. 

She has left such a big hole in our hearts with her passing.

We said our last good bye to our wonderful, beloved Amber on Friday April 20, 2012. She was 14 years of age. Below are a few pictures of her over the years. In a few days I will add more but it is enough now to think about the fact that she is gone and we are so lost without her.

Sydney 15 months of age with her mother in back.

Sydney 15 months old March 30 2012. In very limited showing she was a puppy group winner, group 4th placer and holder of her first NAVHDA title by 10 months of age.

Another busy month

Jersey in the collar, a rescue V joined Amber (1998) in sweater and Jewel (2004) in play.

Jersey in collar is a one year old V who came to us as a rescue dog and has now been placed in a great new home. Jewel (2004) joined her to check out the view.

The house has been filled with visitor dogs the last few months bringing us lots of love and joy.

As the cold weather hit mother (Amber) and daughter (Jewel) appreciated a blanket or two.

Amber was born in 1998 bred by Sylvia Dorosh of Varazs Vizslas ( Ontario) and Jewel was born in 2004 bred by us.

Grandparents - what's all the fuss

Maternal Grandparents Remmie and Amber are just happy they got new toys in all the fuss over their daughter' Jewel's impending litter delivery. Well new toys and some special food treats because that Jewel is getting special food, might have its up side. Amber does not like Jewel being away from her and has decided the whelping room can just as well hold them both. I guess we will see how that plays out when the delivery starts.
