The head was designed by Sylvia Dorosh of Varazs Vizslas who was one of the founding members and long time president and newsletter publisher and editor for Vizsla Canada. She also bred our first 3 Vizslas and some of the other dogs we have included in our breeding program, such as Blaze, the sire of our 2010 litter.
The head is fashioned after BISS Ch Emerald Legacy's Prime Time SH ROM owned and bred by Diane Shearer and Greg Gollick of Legacy Vizslas in Pennsylvania. His call name was Mickey - a wonderful dog in look, temperament, and ability. He was one of those once in a lifetime dogs.

Mickey joined Blackbullet Vizslas in many ways - he was the sire of our first Vizsla Rex born in 1997. He was the grandpa of our second Vizsla Amber, born in 1998 and great grandpa to our Kati born in 2002. He was the grandpa of our Remmie who came to us from Legacy Kennels in 2003 and through him we were able to include Mickey on both sides of our pedigrees for litters in 2004 and 2005. We knew we were very lucky to have this outstanding Vizsla in our dogs. We also gained wonderful friends and mentors through Sylvia Dorosh who had the insight to include him in her breeding program and through Diane who took us under her wing as owners of dogs of her lines and taught us so much and supported us over the years.
So yes, just a simple green cup, but for us, the story of our dear and wonderful dogs and friends. We have been blessed.
