My daughter and her boyfriend took Blue Heron, their Swedish made Hallberg-Rassey 43 MK Special sail boat, on their first open water trip in her, today. They are headed to Bermuda. My daughter sent this lower picture as they started off today from Western Long Island Sound, New York. They are joined by a captain from Sweden and a couple of mates. It is about a 5-6 day trip to get there. 3 of them will sail back while the 2 mates will fly back.
We are so glad they are starting on this great experience in their lovely boat!
