Nioka started life as Miss Yellow, on December 15, 2010. Daughter of Jewel X Blaze, Nioka was one of 5 girls and 3 boys. Like her colour name, she was a ray of sunlight.
Nioka's light went out February 24, 2013. She didn't understand that her curiousity and love of chewing might bring her in contact with some human medicine that could kill her. She fell into a coma on February 22. The best of medical attention was given to her. Her family spent all Saturday with her but she slipped away on Sunday morning at 2 years and 2 months of age. There are no words for the hole she has left in the hearts of her family and in our hearts. A terrible tragic loss.
