It seems sadness has come to stay with us for a while. Since Christmas our dear Kati, born June 2002, was diagnosed with a very aggressive and metastatic inflammatory mammary carcinoma. She was so brave and so determined not to let us know how hard she fought to stay but on January 23, 2012, Kati went to run in the wild fields at the end of the rainbow bridge. Kati never had a sick day up to the time of her cancer diagnoses.
She was mother to one litter born in 2005 and grandmother to one litter.
Kati was smart, determined, very busy and very loving and will remain a very special part of our memories. Her signature look was running around with as many toys as possible stuffed in her mouth to show you and receive your words and pets of appreciation. She was very good at going and getting the toys from the field too.
Kati was bred by Sylvia Dorosh of Varazs Vizslas in Ontario and was supported by her up to her last breath. We thank Sylvia for all her help at good times and as we had to face this horrible time.
I still cannot seem to get it into my head that Remmie and Kati have left us so quickly; it does not seem it can be true.

I am devastated to hear that you have lost your two beloved vizslas so close together. Please accept my sympathies and know that I share your grief in the loss of Katie and Remmie.
In my comment on Feb 1, 2012, I misspelled Kati's name. I am so sorry.
Pets enrich our lives, provide us with companionship, emotional support, and unconditional love and show that love to their humans daily. They become part of the family and develop unique personalities. The loss is immense and the void they leave is so great. Thank you for the opportunity to be reunited with Kati in 2004 to finish her championship and see her earn her junior hunting title. And my deepest gratitude to you for giving Kati a loving and happy home. I mourn her death and your loss and also share your grief.
It's hard to believe it's been over a year now since Kati departed this earth.
