Kati has 7 nursing stations so one pup each time must wait or I sometimes will supplement feed that pup if it is hungry and then it can nurse later. Each time it is a different pup although as they get bigger, sometimes it is the smaller pups who get pushed off.
I watch closely to make sure that all pups are getting nursing time and by weighing them twice per day, I get a good idea of who  needs to be put back on to Kati first at the next nursings.

Pups running.  When they are awake, they are up and racing about. Also when they wake up they are going to a particular spot to do their business so we will soon give them a paper area. Not even two weeks old and already they are trying to keep their sleeping and toilet areas separate.  I think this is the earliest we have seen this awareness.
